Depends on which language do you prefer. The general documentation specific for typesetting in particular language can be obtained by: yum install texlive-collection-<language> where <language> is one from: arabic bulgarian czechslovak dutch english finnish french german chinese italian japanese korean mongolian polish portuguese russian serbian slovenian spanish thai turkish ukrainian vietnamese A general rule is when you need a documentation for a particular package then first check whether yum install texlive-<package>-doc works and it will for most of the cases. Installation of all documentation is generally wasteful as it is more than 60% of the total TeX Live RPM packages and likely more in expanded state.
