the package: texlive-psnfss-2011-0.2.9.2a.svn20257.fc15.noarch This package comes with the following map files:
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/psnfss/charter.map /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/psnfss/fpls.map /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/psnfss/pazo.map /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/psnfss/psnfss.map /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/map/dvips/psnfss/utopia.map The package installer script does not add these map files to the system updmap.cfg. This is what I experienced after I reinstalled TeXLive from scratch today. As a result, pdflatex fails.
