Thanks very much Jose i didn't think of logging out or rebooting - perhaps that would have worked
Despite to rather long process I'm happier to run a stable texlive version on my work machine - I'll keep the devel version for my spare computer (and it had fewer problems unfortunately) Cheers peter ___________________________________________________________ Peter Baker dr_pete_ba...@yahoo.com.au ________________________________ ----- Original Message ---- From: José Matos <jama...@fc.up.pt> To: texlive@linux.cz Sent: Wed, 27 April, 2011 8:37:50 PM Subject: Re: [Fedora TeX Live] Upgrade problem with texlive2011/dev on f14 On Wednesday 27 April 2011 07:23:58 Peter Baker wrote: > Instead I removed texlive2011/dev and all packages depending on it. For some reason I had to logout or else lyx (or plain latex for that part) would not pick the changes. After doing a login it worked again so I suspect that there was some cached files issue. It is interesting because this problem was different from the previous breakage where /usr/share/texlive/texmf/web2c/fmtutil.cnf /usr/share/texlive/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg were hosed, that was not the case this time. :-) > Cheers > Peter -- José Abílio _______________________________________________ TeXLive mailing list TeXLive@linux.cz http://www.linux.cz/mailman/listinfo/texlive _______________________________________________ TeXLive mailing list TeXLive@linux.cz http://www.linux.cz/mailman/listinfo/texlive
