I am not sure what you mean by a "sponsos" but if it means you have someone
to ask questions, then you can ask me anytime.
Could you perhaps make clear what test process you have been lead through
by sumantro?

Have you seen the test matrices for release validation tests? If not, this
is a good start. If so, this is still a good start :)
For example, Desktop testing is always needed:
