A bug report with nothing but the manufacturer model number (which
doesn't *always* tell you exactly what the actual hardware is), and no
logs, and where the user no longer has the hardware, is pretty close to
useless, unfortunately. No one can do anything useful with it and it'll
just sit there until it gets aged out somehow. Technically yes it gives
someone a "heads up", but there's not much they can do with it.

It'd be more useful to get someone who is still in possession of
hardware that isn't working properly to file a bug with useful details.
