Good suggestion, and check out this weirdness: I booted into the last F33 kernel I had, and it still didn't work. Then I unplugged and re-plugged the USB-C connection, *which I had done before*, and the monitor appeared. Then, I rebooted back into the F34 kernel _and everything stayed working_.
