In regard to my continued testing of F34 Workstation Beta. I am
currently at drop 0220.n.0
These are bare metal installs on a Lenovo M53 with a i5-4570 CPU. The
ISO was check summed and loaded to a thumb drive using Media Writer. The
test machine booted to Live normally. Anaconda started normally. Options
to delete all and reclaim space were selected for the hard drive.
Install ran normally. I have NOT seen boot from thumb drive problems for
a few drops now.
During First Boot, I still get the white screen sad face coming up then
the window to complete the install appears and the install can be
completed. The sad face disappears when Start Using Fedora is clicked.
For the last three drops GCC has not run reliable. It either won't start
or it crashes when a tab is clicked.
I tried to use text editor, but it crashed on start.
I'm still seeing the long delays for restarts and shutdown.
