This is concerning firewall-applet. I see that firewalld and the
firewall applet are based at https://firewalld.org, but it has been
suggeted that gnome is the problem area for why firewall applet won't
work under gnome but works fine under xfce.

I've checked gnome at gitlab but can not find a project related to
firewall. I need to know what part of gnome to file an issue against.
any help would be appreciated.
