I'm not aware of which applications are users of systemd services. So I 
installed (using dnf) about a dozen of the applications I usually use, 
checked them for basic function, and then removed them. I then 
re-installed them and check for basic function again. I found no 
problems. I also checked out the functions in the settings panel and 
Gnome Tweaks. Again everything worked fine.
