Hi,
in the previous Fedora versions up to F26 there I had a problem transferring
film files (1GB to 2GB) from the Laptop internal disk (Win 8.1) to an external
ntfs formatted disk, transfer speed up to 40MB/sec. The problem was in the
first minutes of the data transfer about 3 films couldn't be transferred, data
error, the following transfers of the same session ok . Total data transfer was
about 40 - 60GB. It was also not possible to copy these about 3 films later on
i.e. with F26,there seemed to be something corrupted, but in Win 8.1 also for
these 3 films there were no copying problem. In F27 this phenomenon did so far
not appear. My configuration, always the same: Acer Laptop E5-571G, 8GB Ram,
internal disk Win 8.1, Fedora on USB 3.0 stick, external disk: internal disk
SATA 1TB bought from Ebay, connected to the system via cheap SATA to USB 2.0
adapter. I am happy now.
Kind regards
