I replaced the anemic ATI 3450 board on my test system with a 5 year old
Nvidia 9600.
Today's rawhide greeted this board with a black screen. I installed
the current Nvidia
driver without problems.
Rawhide Xfce and KDE run fine with the Nvidia driver. I am installing
MATE to see how that runs.
Gnome still fails with "something gone wrong".
I guess we can do without Gnome anyway.
