I would like to propose https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=809111 as a blocker or https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=750794 as they are related. I am surprised that this hasn't been brought up already as I am unable to install to a software raid device. Am I using an unusual setup or an unsupported one?

The configuration is that I have two drives. On both, I have created a 2MB bios boot partition and the rest is a software raid partition. (It is using GPT.) I combined both raid partitions into a raid1 device and set it as /. It then fails at the point of installing the boot loader because grub2-probe segfaults due to an infinite recursive loop. This is due to a bug where having the md0 device in the device.map causes the loop. I have commented out the entry in device.map and I will see if doing an upgrade will fix the boot loader now.
