retracing server issues

Every time I use the retrace server for the past few weeks I fail to get 
a backtrace. The log shows this:

Initializing virtual root
<snipping out 50 repeating lines>
Initializing virtual root
Saving crash statistics
Retrace job finished successfully
Backtrace parsing failed for .
1:0: No frame and no thread found.
Is this a known issue?
