For years I have used /etc/rc.d/rc.local for this and that including launching VNC screens.
[root@gpib rc.d]# cat rc.local su -l caf -c "vncserver " su -l root -c "vncserver " date | mail -s boot c...@omen.com But it seems 32 bit Verne doesn't like it: Starting Login Service... Starting /etc/rc.local Compatibility... Starting Avahi mDNS/DNS-SD Stack... Starting D-Bus System Message Bus... Started Console System Startup Logging. Started Security Auditing Service. Started Machine Check Exception Logging Daemon. Starting Command Scheduler... Started Command Scheduler. Starting /etc/rc.local Compatibility failed, see 'systemctl status rc-local.service' for details. -- Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX N2469R c...@omen.com www.omen.com Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc "The High Reliability Software" 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 503-614-0430 -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
