Something along the lines of cvs diff [filename] to obtain the diff, and
then up load it and apply it with patch.

However I could also use cvs update on the remote machine (provided it
can speak to my server, but holes in our firewall are a different
question) in order to grab the files, which although it will transmit
the whole fie, is probably a bit easier.

Anyway, I don't make huge diary entries so overhead == negligible.
