Well, I've used StarOffice (http://www.sun.com/products/staroffice/5.2). It
works... Actually, I've only used v5.1, and they've since released a new
version *and* released the code under GPL. So who knows. It's worth a look
if you often have to import Word and P*werP*int documents, too.
Maybe I should try Gnumeric as well. :)
