I am trying to install red hat 6.0 on a Dell dimension pentium
that has a bad internal cd and a good external cd on an adaptec
1542c scsi adapter. When I request an install from a local cd
it only finds the bad internal drive. If I go to expert mode
I can access the SCSI CD but it is the original install cd and
not in proper disk format to use as a disk install.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
