Even though I'm not having this problem on Linux, I hope someone has an answer. I have a system (AIX) where I have no choice but to use xemacs instead of emacs. For some reason unknown to me, xemacs using mapping the Esc key to it's "meta" which I absolutely cannot get used to. I've used xev to look at the X Keysyms. How do I tell xemacs to map the X Keysym Meta_L to it's interpretation of meta? I checked the xemacs.org website and haven't hit on the right thing yet. Also, xemacs is giving me a warning about Meta_R being mapped to mod1 and mod2 which is not what "xmodmap -pm" says. -- Kathryn Hogg _______________________________________________ techtalk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/techtalk
