When I've been upgrading the last couple of times via capt or even just getting package lists via apt-get update, I am seeing a lot of this: iput: device 00:01 inode 4096 still has aliases! Sometimes it is device 00:00 with different numbers, sometimes device 03:07 with different numbers... 00:01 is always 4096, one of them is always large numbers (03:07 i believe). This is currently spewing all over my tty2 (oh wait it just stopped), or was for a good 2 or 3 minutes after I stopped/finished apt-get. capt invokes dpkg/apt and only gives the messages during that time (not when I'm browsing packages). Now it seems less characteristic of caapt/dpkg/apt... I just attempted to find a man page, figured out that what I was man-ing for wouldn't be there, so ctrl+c'd it: again more spewage. This time it included 03:07 with inconsistent numbers in a high number series but a small range for the inodes, and also 03:09 (couldn't catch the numbers). Again, it continued for a good 2 minutes... mostly consisting of the 00:01 inode 4096 after the first 30 seconds. This is very recent, like the last week... any ideas as to what it is and how I can remedy it?? -nicole _______________________________________________ techtalk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/techtalk
