Hello!
My name is Kristin Igaki, and I want to announce the attempt-at-formation of of a San
Diego, CA LinuxChix chapter.
I haven't posted much to the lists and am reasonably new to the group, but I have
benefitted so very much from all of you. Thank you so much!
I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a linux guru. However, I have some
unix/linux experience and would love to do what I can to contribute to the community
as it grows. A few people in my office have already expressed interest in joining the
San Diego chapter, so there will be no lack of information to be shared.

Also, all of this is still in the formative stages, so no real plans have been
cemented into place, but I was thinking that, initially, meetings would happen once a
month, with supplemental 'install-fests' and whatnot when possible. Any other ideas
would be appreciated.
