Telnet works fine so is not an issue. I have included anonymous in the
class line in ftpaccess and now have a different error instead of just
"login failed", I now get:
[root@dell1 /home]# ftp phil
Connected to phil.
220 phil.pszone1 FTP server (Version wu-2.6.0(1) Tue Jan 4 19:41:20 GMT
2000) ready.
Name (phil:root): anonymous
331 Guest login ok, send your complete e-mail address as password.
Password: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (this worked ok on Mandrake 6.1 on my laptop)
530 Can't set guest privileges.
Login failed.
