Thanks for info everyone. I had the usual fear, remember this is Microsloth country,:) 
It is like you utter a
word other than Window98 or the proposed Window2000 all one hears are ill founded 
horror stories. SInce it
seems possible to make the change, to go dual boot and not have that many problems.
