This was true prior to 2.2.x (and even with 2.0.x and older you could
have multiple swap files to give more than 128mb swap). Nowadays you can
have much larger swap partitions.

I've been told recently that swap *files* are still limited to 128mb but
I have not verified the accuracy of this.
