I don't know about "loon", but I have to agree with you about the other -
no way would I go to ESR for legal advice. :)  Of course, I don't have
a lawyer experienced in this field handy, so I do have to look to some-
one...  And that's usually Bruce Perens (who seems to have become ESR's
arch-enemy. :))
