[To/CC adjusted appropriately, and using just email now since I think ubuntu-devel@ is more widely read by the electorate and splitting the conversation would be painful]
Thank you for organising this Merlijn! I always wish there were more discussion prior to these elections - to hear more specifically what Ubuntu developers want the Technical Board to continue doing or to change. But usually the list is mostly silent, and all we hear are the election results. I wonder if there's any benefit to doing some kind of realtime "AMA" session with all the nominees? Would that help? Would Ubuntu developers be interested in attending such an event? The regular TB meeting slot seems like the obvious time for this. The last few TB meetings have been pretty quick and the agenda is currently fairly sparse. The next TB meeting is scheduled for 17 December at 2000 UTC. Or we can find a better mutually agreeable time or venue. I'm happy to help with the logistics. If you're interested in attending, please could you let me know either on ubuntu-devel@ or privately? This would help for planning purposes, but I imagine anybody could attend the final event without requiring any notice. Merlijn, if there is interest, I wonder if the election schedule could be adjusted to accommodate, please? If the session happens then I think it would make sense for voting to begin after it. Robie
