Tl;Dr: I'm not trying too hard to use Devel::Cover but so far it fails abysmally with BOTH pkg_add and dpb.
I'll admit that both are playing "fun" games with identity but seriously, Devel::NYTProf didn't care at all ! I've spent a few hours trying to figure out options (loose_perms won't help) Knowing how much of my perl is actually used would be a HUGE HELP in crafting more non regression tests, but so far, Devel::Cover lives up to its "alpha for 20 years" reputation. Triggering the problems is not hard: pkg_add breaks, dpb breaks even earlier...
