yes, it is weird. i am not convinced that btrace is a natural interpreter, nor that anyone would put this into your $PATH, at which point you are using an absolute path, and it seems unlikely anyone would even notice these are executable, so they would the pattern: >I think it's not very hard to type "btrace script" vs script.
