Another vote for CrashPlan Home.  As a good sysadmin I know I should backup my 
files offsite, but never get around to it.
CrashPlan backs up my main PC to the cloud.  Other PC's backup locally to the 
main PC, so their data is sent to the cloud as well.
It does cost money, but it is not much each month.
If you send you data to a friend, it is free.  From what I can tell, it is 
encrypted sitting on your friends computer so they can't see your files.
