I am just lazy. By this time I should have done the install from a cd. I
have done that in the past but I am doing testing and trying to cut some
corners. By now with all this time wasted I could have built it from a cd
image.

Thanks for the replies I am trying the 12.04 image and if I get into the
same run around with that I will build it from an image.
