Awareness only counts if you're a politician or celebrity.

I need the ability to tell fellow system admins that this excellent new 
security feature is available in [insert major browsers here], so they should 
implement it on the server side.  I need the ability to tell my friends and 
family that [insert major browsers here] will do a much better job of 
protecting them from password/identity theft, so they should use them.

A call for any of them to rise up against sending their passwords to servers 
really won't resonate.  What are they supposed to do?  Call their 
congresscritter to demand legislation about it?

I'm with Tom.  Come back when this is implemented in a major browser.
