Absolutely, there are many refurbishers out there that would love to
have this, clean it up, certify it, sell it, and offer service. There's
a fairly substantial business in used/refurbished network gear of all kinds.
They'll put in bids. They'll even come to your site, pick stuff up, sort
it, categorize it, take it back, inventory, and then sell on ebay or
whatever and salvage what won't sell. In many cases you get a cut of the
sale and the entire thing may cost you absolutely nothing (depending
upon residual value of the equipment)

This actually is serendipitous for me.
We have a Cisco Nexus 7018 that we just took out of service (due to a
100Gb upgrade) and is now sitting on a skid in my data center. Does
anyone have any suggestions about where such a beast can be unloaded?
Are there reputable companies who can take tech like that and put it
to further use or is it just scrap waiting to happen?
I also have a big UPS that will be joining it shortly.
