LOPSA-East is headed into its 6th year and this is going to be the best year yet. We have some big things planned for 2016 and need your help to make them a reality!
As we are an entirely volunteer-organized event, we could use your help! We are looking for volunteers <http://lopsaeast.org/2016/lopsa-east-16-volunteer-interest/> who can assist our teams in the areas of registration, A/V, graphics design, room monitoring, speaker introductions and we are also looking for the following jobs filled: - *nix Content Lead - This person will be responsible for helping bring in exciting *nix content and speakers for the conference - Windows Content Lead - Same as above but for Windows - BoF (Birds of a Feather) Manager - Responsible for driving the submission of BoFs - Sponsorship Wranglers - Small team of people devoted to helping find sponsors for the conference to help make LOPSA-East 2016 the best conference yet - Web Developer - Somebody willing to put some TLC into the website to make it more attractive and filled with quality content - Social Media Manager - Responsible for spreading the word about LOPSA-East to all corners of the vast interwebs - Design Partner - Responsible for branding LOPSA-East in digital and print publications - Conference Materials Designer - Responsible for putting together written materials for the conference such as the conference booklet - A/V Monitors - Responsible for helping to coordinate A/V needs in each of our training rooms during the conference If any of these sound interesting to you, and you would like to help make LOPSA-East ’16 our biggest and best year yet please get in touch <http://lopsaeast.org/2016/lopsa-east-16-volunteer-interest/>.
