I'm amused everyone seems to be telling you to set up an AD infrastructure when you have absolutely no windows clients or servers. FreeIPA is a pretty good all-in-one solution. It'll support your macs, BSD and Linux systems natively. Just Kerberos and LDAP. It has a comprehensive web interface too.
