I just figured out that I didn't mention the OS at home. I am running
Windows 7. The version of Eudora is old. I did another look at
eudora.comwhich pointed me to the Open Source edition which states on
the front page
that it is no longer supported by Qualcomm and a try of Thunderbird would
be a choice since the OSE Eudora was built on Thunderbird.

So I will probably give that a try.
