We run ClamAV. Freshclam does the automatic updates. Puppet ensures it is installed everywhere. We use Splunk (although various other log management solutions would work also) to monitor that it is receiving updates, working properly, alerting on viruses found, etc. Altogether this provides a complete "enterprise management component". I really don't want a separate tool to manage AV. I love having everything managed from puppet/Splunk. -- Tracy Reed, RHCE Digital signature attached for your safety.
