I am very new with fiber and I need help selecting transceivers for the HP 2910AL-48G. I don't really care what type of connection but whichever is better, then I will go with it. I am looking at this http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12280_na/12280_na.html and leaning toward J4859C. When I start searching for it, tons of other models (even from HP brand) came up with different pricing and I am now confused. Distance ~500ft between the switches. What are my options? Thanks.
