Has anyone ever implemented this in a virtual environment? We have numerous customers on a "platform" we've developed in a shared cloud (ugh...I hate that word) environment. We'd be looking to provide a large, central, clustered storage repository for some if not all of them so that they can implement HA.
While I know it to be false, we've been told that adding physical SAN/NAS storage to our environment is impossible. Really, I just think it's a matter of the prime on the contract not wanting to deal with it as it does not fall in line with their sales model for shared resources. I've read that it does not support multiple geographical locations inherently but that there are workarounds which can be implemented.
