For commercial, the best I can recommend at this time is the D-Link DIR-655.

Very handy information. I'll admit to some vested interest in trying to
decide on something for home, too.

I've heard Apple's AEBS is the best of commercially supported gear but
its price point makes me blanch. dd-wrt is great from what I hear but I
honestly lost interest in homebrewing stuff years ago even though more
than technically capable of it.

So I'm wondering if there's any middle ground in between the two extremes.
