Please excuse me if I'm doing this incorrectly, I've been on the list a while but have never contributed to it. So here goes...
I am a Server Analyst (not Sr. yet) for a large Canadian retailer and one of the projects I've been asked to organize involves File System Archiving and the management of data throughout it's lifecycle and different tiers of storage. Having only been in the industry for around 5 years now I haven't had as much to do with this as I would like.
So, my question is... does anybody have recommendations for books or resources on Storage Lifecycle Management or Data Lifecycle Management?
We use NetBackup 6.5.4, EMC Celerra/Clariion disk systems and are looking at Symantec Enterprise Vault and the tie-in between it and NetBackup etc.
Any recommendations or resources you know of would be greatly appreciated.
