I've been doing 100% linux-only admin for years and I've never found the fact that one had to have a windows machine to more-reliably use the Dell DRACs an overly onerous requirement. If fact, in most locations I've been at the DRAC's are vlanned and firewalled away onto a management vlan and the easiest way to get to them is to rdesktop to a windows VM on that vlan and use IE from there.
