Hey guys, I'm curious if anyone has implemented a solution for automatically promoting a MySQL slave machine to be a master for an entire pool of MySQL machines when the primary master goes down?
I saw that lbpool (http://code.google.com/p/mysql-lbpool/) might do what I want, but I wasn't sure if anyone has used this before, or if anyone has implemented another way of doing this?
