I need to automate the process of data collection across hundreds of AIX systems. The big challenge now is to figure out how to tell if a system is part of an Oracle RAC setup and what other systems are involved in the cluster. There is an Oracle command that will tell me, but the .profile for oracle wants to ask for a SID and sometimes other things.
