Do we have any valid need to have non-critical local filesystems?
Well, I have a dedicated filesystem for builds, separate from my OS. The /build happens to be my nvme SSD. Building (or being able to build) is not critical to having the machine running (and receiving mail). So, yeah, I think non-critical local filesystems are meaningful. FWIW, I cannot spell zfs! :) +--------------------+--------------------------+----------------------+ | Paul Goyette | PGP Key fingerprint: | E-mail addresses: | | (Retired) | FA29 0E3B 35AF E8AE 6651 | p...@whooppee.com | | Software Developer | 0786 F758 55DE 53BA 7731 | pgoye...@netbsd.org | | & Network Engineer | | pgoyett...@gmail.com | +--------------------+--------------------------+----------------------+
