Hi folks, my old videocard died and I replaced it with a slightly newer one but it isn't recognized and nothing other than vga0 attaches. Its an Gigabyte Radeon RX460 with 2 GB ram.
002:00:0: ATI Technologies Radeon RX460 (VGA display, revision 0xcf) 002:00:1: ATI Technologies Radeon RX 460/550/640SP, RX 560/560X HD Audio Controller (mixed mode multimedia) 002:00:0: 0x67ef1002 (0x030000cf) 002:00:1: 0xaae01002 (0x04030000) And the following attaches: [ 1.036422] vga0 at pci2 dev 0 function 0: vendor 1002 product 67ef (rev. 0xcf) [ 1.036422] wsdisplay0 at vga0 kbdmux 1: console (80x25, vt100 emulation), using wskbd0 [ 1.036422] wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0 [ 1.036422] drm at vga0 not configured [ 1.036422] hdaudio0 at pci2 dev 0 function 1: HD Audio Controller ... So no DRI/DRM and X attaches using VESA and at least gets a workable display. The model name on the box is: GV-RX460WF20C-2GD, AMD Radeon RX460/rev 1.0, PCI-E 3.0... Is there any hope for adding this? Does the default ATI/AMD Radeon driver support this and is this thus just a missing detection in drmkms? Thanks in advance, Reinoud
