Yes, that would be great. What I would do first is examine our ext2
code and the linux ext{2,3,4} code and to determine how much work
is each project you are proposing. Then I would select a reasonable
goal and write a proposal about what I was trying to achieve,
splitting the project into milestones that I could do every week
or so. Running diff between the extN linux directories can be
instructive :-)
