hu, that's really not a dream. honeycomb has it all (very nearly) - at least I think so, if not, please file a bug-report / feature request ;). What is missing is support for declarative ta-demarcation - I still don't see why people would want it, but I think James is about to add this anyway... The other thing is request-spanning transactions. You should be able to not commit at the end of the request. But that's also one of the rarer use cases.
