Hello, We at Salesforce.com have need for a consultant to assist us with a short-term project involving Tapestry. The project is a small internal application that will have four or so main screens for managing different types of data using a standard CRUD interface. For the purposes of this project, the data store for the application is a local XML file; perferrably using Castor, but any XML persistence mechanism is acceptable. The user interface is equally simple; its really just managing several lists of data in a tabbed navigation UI with no complicated layout or graphics. The expected user load is at most two or three concurrent users and the data set is small enough that it can be contained entirely in memory. This is an ideal project for somebody who has some spare cycles. It is entirely self-contained and has almost zero start-up costs for an experienced developer. It is a small application and I would expect that it would take somebody who knows what they are doing two or three days at most. We need someone who is motivated and responsible and who can produce results quickly. You must have prior experience working with Tapestry and be able to provide reference projects as proof of that experience.
