What annotations do you have on your getTermsOfUse() method? What does your Border.java look like (just that one property getter of course)?

One thing that I did and thought may have caused the exception if both the page and component are injected with the same object, such as Visit. I had the page and component both injecting the visit object; I can't say that was really the actual cause of the problem though, but try it. You can always get the value of the injected object in component through the page it's referring to.
