Well, the day has come for me to get started on this part of my
project.... I am seeking advice on this list because the deliverable
would be a tapestry component that performs searches against some sort
of CMS repository (JCR,webdav server, filesystem, etc)
I need to associate images, pdf's and html content files to arbitrary
domain objects (POJO's) within a tapestry application. While I could
author tapestry screens that do image and file uploads, I would rather
not create a new CMS system when there are about a gazillion out there
already. This component would perform searches of a repository and
return paths or document id's of the respective documents found within
the repository.
I would need a java CMS application that has a java API that permits
searches. Does anyone need such a component that they would like to
collaborate with me on the development and requirements of this
component. Anyone have feelings for or against trying to use a JCR or
webdav API, or someother API?
Thanks, I am a team of one;) and your advice would be appreciated.
