None of those CMS support Tapestry as a Template System.
In the past I have integrated many CMS using Postnuke, PHPNuke, Mambo even oscommerce for online stores. My team is in Spain and I'm in the US, None of the designers in my team now what a variable is. I don't have any other choice than using Tapestry because it allows me totally separate Design from logic.
Many of the big CMS that would work with this project use technologies
such as XSLT for the Template Engine or many XML descriptors.
Most designers don't know these technologies. Tapestry is the perfect fit to work with designers with HTML-Photoshop skills. And my experience is that everytime that I introduce some technology that they're not familiar with, I end up doing their Job.

Could you please elaborate a bit on reasons to develop
yout CMS?
It seems like thre is a bunch of open source CMS like
http://www.alfresco.org/index.html http://www.opencms.org/opencms/en/
http://www.exoplatform.com/portal/faces/public/exo
and others
Why another system, just curious...

I'm starting to develop a CMS in Tapestry.
I have some doubts whether to start with T4 or T3.
One of the reasons is that I'm using MyEclipse/Spindle for development and these tools currently don't support T4 yet.
I have been reading about T4 support for portlets
but I'm afraid of not being able to find help since there are neither examples nor tutorials for it yet.
The Architecture for the CMS will look like somewhat
like this:

Hibernate3
Tapestry
Spring (haven't decided yet)

The main reason why I'm using tapestry for this
project is because there is a whole team of html/css designers in charge of the design and people are used to think about its development in components which makes Tapestry a perfect fit for the project.

I would appreciate any feedback.

(I apologize if my English is not clear enough,
still learning :))
